New partnership underpins new strategic focus for the business.

MSL, part of the Drive Further collective, has signed a three-year deal with Friends Legal Marketing, specialists in online legal case generation, to manage the claims journey for EL, PL and RTA claimants in England (and Wales).

The contract win marks the first fruits of a new strategic focus on growth for Cheshire-based MSL, according to Tony Sharrock, MSL’s Client Relationship Manager,

“We are responding to changes in civil justice and broadened our scope to provide corporate clients with a total PI claims solution, including FNOL, credit hire, rehab and medical reporting.“

He said:

“This new business win breaks new ground for MSL as a claims management provider, and we hope it will lead to further growth for us in the sector.”

Mr. Sharrock explained that the arrangement sees MSL handling FNOL and client capture for leads from Friends Legal. Once the claim has been accepted, the legal elements are managed via MSL’s panel solicitors and rehab and medical reporting, as well as ATE are delivered in-house. “Handoffs are minimised and each claimant is assigned to handlers to give a better experience.”

He added:

“We expect several hundred new case enquiries per month, and while market change is inevitable as a result of the government’s whiplash proposals, EL and PL claims remain largely unaffected by government policy.”
